A business process is a set of well-coordinated tasks and activities, carried out by both, people and equipment that eventually result in accomplishing specific organizational goals. Business Process Management at Amrut seeks to make business processes more effective, efficient and capable of adapting to a rapidly changing and dynamic economic scenario through a successful integration of management and information technology. As a part of infrastructure management, it encompasses the administrative area concerned with the maintenance and optimization of an organization’s equipment and core operations.

Once these processes have been embedded and utilized in the applications, the exercise of improving efficiency can begin. Processes and their related performance can be examined, reviewed, revised and adjusted accordingly. Most importantly these processes allow organizations to focus on continual improvement.
